I'm Royce Yang, a product designer with a background in industrial design and over six years of UX experience. My passion lies in addressing everyday challenges through human-centered solutions.
I’m dedicated to crafting digital experiences that bridge user needs and business goals. Currently, I’m pursuing a master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and collaborating with Microsoft Research to enhance the innovation process within Microsoft Health Futures Group.
I specialize in product design, focusing on optimizing human-robot interactions. My skills encompass UX research—both qualitative and quantitative—as well as UX design, including wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. I also bring expertise in 3D product design, covering modeling, rendering, and printing.

I have hands-on experience in both academic and professional settings, particularly within the healthcare industry. My work includes independent research under a UCSC professor, leading to academic research, and collaborations with Microsoft Health Group and startups, where I support innovation process improvements.
